All licenses are valid for one calendar year and must be renewed annually before expiry.
Gather company registration, tax clearance, KYC forms, and financial statements.
Apply online via the GOLDBOD Licensing Portal or submit physical copies to our Accra office.
Pay application and processing fees at designated banks or via GOLDBOD payment gateway.
GOLDBOD compliance team reviews and may conduct site inspection.
Upon approval, license is issued within 48 hours. Digital copy available on portal.
Operating without a valid license is an offence under the GOLDBOD Act, 2024 (Act 1112). Penalties include fines up to GH₵ 1,000,000 and/or imprisonment. Always verify license status through our public register.
